I'll admit I am boring. Just give me a nice air conditioner and let me pitch in on destroying the planet.

A shower.

I voted for the AC option but in England practically all homes don't have AC. The best way for me to cool off during summer is to just not go outside.

And moan. Moaning helps.

You do LOVE to moan about the heat.

Fortunately for you, I find it endearing, rather than annoying. :p

Where's the option for hiding inside, drawing the curtains and quietly cursing that the outside world exists?

I find it difficult to answer this question since heat rarely happens in Scotland. If I am abroad and need to cool down (shockingly, the only time that I experience such warmth that I need to try to cool down) - a nice swim in the local pool and an ice cold glass of beverage.

Ice cream, it's always time for Ice Cream.

Iiiiiiice cream! Also, just went to the pool for the first time in well over a decade and I enjoyed it greatly, except for the bratty kids.

Staying inside with the AC on, although water balloon fights are pretty awesome.

I go to the river with a six pack of umm... Soda;) and float down it for a few miles with friends. Jumping in if you get to hot, so I voted swimming outside.

AC always, but that's because I've had one too many brushes with heatstroke to feel comfortable staying outside for long periods of time. Why does Canada have deserts anyway? And why do I live in one?

I say ice cream, but Scotland and heat are usually mutually exclusive, as Shauna already said XD

Seal the doors, close the curtains and crank up the heat pump on its coldest setting. On the hottest summer days, the outside world can get stuffed,

Now that its mid-winter in these parts, the procedure is much the same, except with the heat pump dispensing heat for a change.

Another good way I find is turning the fan on and having it pointed on me while I'm at the computer. Nice and relaxing, too.

I don't always have AC but when I do it is on.

I'm so glad I live in Montana where I only have to worry about heat for about two months every year.

It's true. When I say to him that it is boiling outside and I feel like my skin is melting, he asks me if it is actually hot or Jordan hot.

To be fair, you feeling hot is no indication of what the ACTUAL weather is.

You've complained about feeling hot in the middle of winter!

On the subject, I don't remember it ever getting warm enough here that I've had to 'cool off'. When I'm on holiday a beer usually works :monster:

He's referring to himself, Formalhaut.

When it's 'Jordan hot', it's not REALLY hot, he just thinks it is, because he's a yeti.

Normally I'd say A/C, but it's out in my apartment right now. So, pool I guess? Keep cool and get a workout at the same time.
