Have You Played Any Tekken Games?

I have played most of them. I've played the Tags and the main numbered ones, but I haven't played Dark Resurrection

I remember playing a little of Tekken ... six? Whichever was released on 360. My friend loved the series and rented it while visiting and played it online. I've played more than a few fighting games in my time, and the button layout in that game was so weird. So so weird. But I guess the purists are used to it. I got a little more into Tekken Vs Street Fighter (or was it the other way around?), but that's mostly because of Capcom's input. My older brother had Tekken 2 and 3 on the PSOne when I was younger, but I barely touched those. We were more into Soul Calibur, or in those days, Soul Blade. Even in its clunky early days, it was pretty fantastic

- Tekken 3
- Tekken Tag Tournament
- Tekken 5: Dark Resurrection
- Tekken 6
- Tekken Tag Tournament 2 (although I haven't played much of it)

Tekken is really the only fighting game that I bother with. I'm only a casual player though, so I'm not one of those that learns every single combo for every single character. The only 10 hit combo I know is for Lili...which says a lot about how bad I probably am xD

Also Vyk, it's Street Fighter x Tekken. Tekken x Street Fighter was announced but it's probably vapourware at this point, unless Namco plan on releasing it after Tekken 7.

I have played them all, and even though the bound system got out of hand, I still think it's a really fun series.

I've played all of them, albeit Tekken (the first one) only a little, through Tekken 5's Arcade History mode and apparently a few matches beyond my recollection.

I played the original Tekken on PS1 and Tekken Tag Tournament on PS2.

They're alright. I just never got into them because the controls were always awkward to me and I never really liked that there seemed to be such a focus on grabbing/throwing moves.

I was always more of a Street Fighter guy.

I played 1, 2, and Tekken Tag Tournament 2 with my brother and nephew. Tekken 2 is my favorite among the ones I played. I have a copy of Tekken 3 and am looking to add that to the list after I replay the second one.

That's what I miss about Tekken. Having to unlock all the players was what gave the game it's replay ability in my opinion.

Oh man, I remember the hours poured into Tekken 3 to unlock Doctor Bosconovitch. Memories.
