I've noticed a lot of issues with uploaded images recently - many times they just aren't showing in posts, like in my Sims LP and some just in posts on the forum. Pheesh mentioned the other day his picture in the pic thread didn't show until he went back and tried to edit it, and I've noticed it in a few articles as well...

I've brought it up in staff but the devs haven't got back to me on a fix.

What I've noticed is if you attach a picture it outs it under an img tag in source mode. If you're attaching in that post then it'll show up below as an extra attachment so it looks wonky. If you delete it and go to the attachment manager and add it inline and its the attach tag, it will be normal. But if you edit it, it reverts. It's annoying. If you link it as an img tag and it's just from the manager on another thread or uploaded separately it'll be okay. Or linking from sites like imgur still work.

It's a bothersome workaround to go to source mode and then attachment manager, but it's the only thing I've figured out to "fix" it temporarily.

I'll bother them again about it.

I've used imgur as a host and had it not work a couple of times.

We were looking into that. Or at least img tagged things not showing up. Imgur was working. Do you know what you specs were? You know browser and system. We tried to replicate it earlier and could only get one random person to show the similar issue so whatever information about when it happened will help.

Windows 8.1 with Opera 12.something. Not sure what version opera is on now but it's the most recent update.
