I ask this, because money is really tight at the moment and it was basically all I could afford to buy. A big bag for $3. So what are some things you can do with oats? Anyone know any way to give them some spin?

Caramelize some sliced/chopped banana and add it it to the oatmeal along with some brown sugar and cinnamon. Maybe even some maple syrup or honey.

Blueberries are cheap here right now. You could add those.

When you say you bought oatmeal, do you mean just a bag full of rolled/cut oats?

Jelly! It will sweeten it up and add some flavor.

Harden and compress them into a thin, but practical, tasteless serving dish; then eat bacon off of it.
