For a very weak and relative definition of "best".

But seriously, I'm curious. I just learned the HD Remixes include all the games except 3D, for the first time on a single console. That is actually very nice of Squeenix, thank you very much Square-Enix.

Also Roxas' game isn't even a game anymore but just a movie you can watch? I might look into that. I've always liked Roxas.

Also i chose the term "Writing" because I didn't want to specify "Story." Some people are very nitpicky about that. A game with a great story might have awful characters and vice versa. One KH game might have a decent plot while another game has better characters.

Chain of Memories or 358/2 though I'm not sure 358/2's plot would work as a movie as it does a game. It does a day-today set-up similar but not exactly like Persona 3/4 which means the pacing is purposely very slow and drawn out but it helps fill those moments with subtle changes in the character and gives the player a real sense of "everything is different now" when shit starts to go down.

Chain of Memories or Birth By Sleep. BBS wins story-wise but not sure about the actual writing between those two.

Well I haven't played Birth By Sleep yet. It definitely isn't Dream Drop Distance. I'll have to go with the original.

Original for me. Never got the feels with the others like I did with that one.
