WRESTLING! I made this thread a year or so ago, but I'm remaking it because Batman.

First wrestling game I ever played was WWF War Zone. Then I went through Attitude, all the amazing N64 games for WCW and WWF, the SmackDown series, and the Smackdown vs. RAW series. I even played the two ECW games, and TNA iMPACT. I also had the misfortune of playing WCW Nitro and Thunder. I didn't mind Mayhem so much. That used to be my favorite just because it had every WCW arena available in it. It became a tradition for me to review a wrestling game on WrestleMania weekend. First wrestling game I ever played was WWF War Zone. Then I went through Attitude, all the amazing N64 games for WCW and WWF
I went on that exact same path. War Zone was fun but Attitude and WM2000/No Mercy blew it out of the water. THQ's N64 engine was spectacular. I never played any games since but I hope they built on the foundation that the N64 made.

They were doing okay until around SvR 07 and even that's better than the 2K series.

I'm playing SvR11 and the only annoying thing about it is that the WWE Universe mode is tied into exhibition. You can't have a normal string of matches without it affecting the WWE Universe and throwing random cut-scenes you didn't want at you. Luckily, they fixed that in the next game. They just made everything else on the Universe front worse.
