I have a very selective memory. Things that do not actually concern me I have a tendency to forget about really quickly. Things I take or have taken an active interest in I sometimes remember for-e-ver.

I've become extremely absent-minded these past few years. I think going 10+ years in a Crohn's flare has caused some problems w/ my head. I have a hard time getting the right word to come to mind when talking to someone, my short term memory is shit. I'll remember something from long ago that's obscure, but can't remember why I walked into a room.

I'm good at remembering some things and bad at remembering where I put my keys, glasses, purse, etc. I am always misplacing stuff.

I can remember my credit card and bank card numbers. So fairly well. I also remember the date I first played WoW (17th November 2005). Anything number related I'm pretty good with.
