I had to have them for a good 2-3 years when I was a kid. It actually wasn't because my teeth were crooked... it's because I had a bunch of the wrong teeth in the wrong spots. So I had to get a ton of teeth pulled, reshaped, moved around, and so on. It was weird.

How about you?

Yup, removable ones. For about four years. They fixed my cross bite.

No, surprisingly. I had terrible teeth when I was little but then my adult teeth grew in and they're just fine. I have a tiny overbite, but it's not even noticeable unless you're looking for it

Yeah, I had train tracks and then a retainer between the ages of 11 and 13. I'm glad I got it done really early! I should point out I had really advanced mouth development that meant my mouth was a few years older than I was, which is why I was able to get it done that young.

No, I've never needed them. I've been lucky when it comes to my teeth.

No, because people in my family (on both sides) tend to have straight teeth. The only good part of our genes probably. My sister got her teeth filed down and I might consider that because I have some sharp teeth that may be causing me to grind or caused by grinding.

Nope. I'm naturally blessed with perfectly even teeth.

Nope. I've got nice straight teefers. However they are gapped more than my liking.

My teeth are fine but maybe braces would have made them look even finer. Muh NHS dentist

Yep- I had them for 2 years from 15-17! What a time to get braces! I hated them! When I got them tightened it felt like someone smacking me in the mouth with a brick and they used to cut up my mouth and I hated it!

Saying that, i now have lovely teeth so I can't complain!

Fuck yes. As soon as my 2 front teeth finished growing in, I made my mom take me to get evaluated for them and I got em! Turned out, my jaw was also out of alignment just a bit.

I lost my retainer though after like 3 months and quit wearing it altogether. My teeth are fine.

I used to have a perma-retainer on the back of my bottom teeth, but the wire popped out so now I have little mounds of cement in the backs of them that need to get fixed.

That was the longest run on sentence ever and idfc

Nah, I asked my parents for them but they told me it costs too much and go study :p (although my little brother got braces!) Now that I can afford Invisalign as an adult, I'm simply too lazy. My teeth aren't that bad, I've heard it's cute that they aren't perfectly straight (? then again, peeps will say anything to get in your pants?? Haha).
