Yes you read that correctly. (http://www.siliconera.com/2015/09/11/new-final-fantasy-adventure-details-to-be-revealed-on-september-17th/) Final Fantasy Adventure on the Game Boy, better known as Final Fantasy Seiken Densetsu: Final Fantasy Gaiden in Japan, or Mystic Quest in Europe, is getting a new title in time for the franchise's 25th Anniversary. The game started off the loved cult series known as the Mana series in the West. Whether the game will be a new remake like Sword of Mana or the iOS port or whether it will be a new game entirely is unknown, but we'll all find out next week. ;)

If I remember correctly, Adventure would have been an action oriented game, and Legend would have been a turn based game, similar to regular Final Fantasy whose lineage lead to the SaGa series, while Adventure lead to the Mana series. But I didn't play either of them, so I'm being very presumptuous, since they were the first game in either's respective series, vast changes could have been made before they became well known

This intrigues me though. I enjoyed Secret of Mana a bit, it's sadly a little too dated for me these days. Even with the text enhancement mod, the writing is just matter-of-fact, without much character or subtlety for me to really get into. There was one on the GBA that I quite enjoyed. And Legend of Mana was super disappointing. So I'd like to see them extend the series and hopefully it's something I can enjoy. Or at least something the fans can get excited about

I'd be happy with a legitimate SD3 port. I'll settle for a Secret of Mana remake. I would not be happy with a brand new! mobile game in the series or yet another remaster of the original game.

Verdict says it's a 3D Remake of the original for Vita and phones (http://www.siliconera.com/2015/09/16/we-may-see-more-3d-remakes-if-final-fantasy-adventure-does-well/). On the brightside, if it actually does well, the producer says that similar remakes would happen for Secret of Mana and Seiken Densetsu 3.
