How often do you wash your hair?

I have to wash mine once a day or it gets gross. I know a lot of people swear by the "don't wash it every day" thing and I've tried it myself but it just doesn't work for me :(

I wash it every other day, sometimes another day after that depending. I've been working really hard on these curls for them to not be so intensely frizzy and washing them so much apparently actually dries them out? I also don't use shampoo anymore. I have a cleanser but all the sulfates in normal shampoo destroyed my curls. If I'm poor and cant afford my expensive devacurl stuff, I just do a cowash (conditioner wash). After changing over to this new method, my hair was greasy no matter what for about 5 weeks. My body was over producing oil since it normally was stripped out from the shampooing all the time. After the 5 weeks when my body finally adjusted to it, suddenly my curls were ~~~~amazing~~~~. I still clean it just not with traditional shampoo and it has helped me so much. Curls hold moisture and oils differently than straight hair so it takes a bit more work than I originally knew about.

My 2015 hair journey has been interesting and i've learned a lot haha.

I've got about 2 inches (lmao aaaay) of hair on the top of my dome piece, so I wash it every day. If I don't, I get all greasy grossy.

I use a fairly high amount of product in my hair. as such washing it daily to get the old product out and prep it for new product is essential.

A couple of times per week for me. I used to do it every day, but after cutting back on washing my scalp soon got used to the new regimen. It's way better for my hair and skin, and I'm saving a lot on shampoo.

I take a shower almost every day BUT I only wash my hair once a week. My hair takes a long time to get greasy and I have naturally dry hair so it takes around a week for it to get a bit greasy.

Yeah, I can go a whole week without washing mine and it will look absoloutely fine. I have crazy thick hair, so to be honest I procastinate like hell about it anyway as I'm committing to not only washing it but also to about 2 hours of blow drying and straightning (which never lasts, slightest bit of water in the atmosphere - frizz and waves back, and I live in the rainy city of the UK! so I can re-straighten my hair upwards of 7+ times a week XD

It's bad to wash your hair every day, and I used to. My hair just doesn't get greasy these days and I even use alot of products to make my hair more managable.

I should shave my head again.

My hair currently smells and looks amazing. Only one of those would be possible if I washed my hair everyday.
