It has good atmosphere to it. I tried it on a NES emulator, made the filter clear and all. Its a nice strategic feel to it ^^. But i had an error with my harddrive, and lost it all :(

Either way. Wondering what your experience with this game is ^^

First time I played it was the Dawn of Souls remake on the GBA. I was really surprised at how much fun I was having.

If you're going to play the NES version on an emulator, you should try the one w/ the "bug fixes".

Same as Fynn's. Just replace with Dawn of Souls with Origins.

Loved the game. I had a my first chance to play it at a friends house and had 1 night. I spent all night trying to beat the game but failed. I didn't have any walkthroughs and got to the part just before the airplain when I was forced to quit. It really was a great game and my 2nd FF ever! VII was my first.

I love the GBA and PSP versions. I have played the NES original though it was just too slow and clunky for me. Fighting one monster felt like forever from memory.

Yeah, you have to remember to set the text speed at the menu screen for that to be anywhere close to playable.

I've never played a version of this game I didn't enjoy. I've been playing it a long time and it still gets a play through from me every couple of years.

It's been a few years since I played but it was what introduced me to RPG's to begin with on the NES. Always has a place in my heart.
