I find pork buns tend to have way too much bun for the amount of pork. I like the pork buns with custard instead though

Mmm. Dim sum. :) Dumplings, definitely.

I've never had the chance to try them, but they've always looked excellent.
I don't think I've ever had either of these things

I've had the top(which were good) but never had the bottom one but they both look amazing.

I agree, the filling to bun ratio is all wrong.

Despite living more than half my life in Chinatown, I never had Pork Buns. I've had Dumplings, though, & think they're pretty good.

On a side note I prefer the steamed pork buns (pictured below) to the barbecue ones (pictured in opening post) but everyone else I know prefers the barbeque. The mushroom and the egg add a nice texture

Never heard of a pork bun :/
However I LOVE dumplings. Especially in a luscious stew <3

Prawn dumplings are so good that it's not even fair. Looove them with some fresh chilli oil and soy sauce.

I had prawn dumplings once....within 15min my face began to swell and my throat closed up and then I realized....I was allergic to shellfish
Anyway, I choose dumplings (minus the seafood ones xD), I love me some Xiao long bao, whoever thought of putting soup inside dumplings was a genius! ^^
