Like the title says, what are some videogame locations that are inspired by or somehow related to real life places?

I'll start off with a couple!

In Pokémon Platinum you climb a mountain called Coronet. In New Zealand there is a ski area called Coronet Peak (http://snow.co.nz/media/uploads/2009/06/coronetpeak.JPG). Nibelheim from Final Fantasy reminds of me of the town of Blenheim in New Zealand, although only by it's name. Valkyria Chronicles uses lots of (slightly changed) Dutch and German places in it's world map (http://www.mobygames.com/images/shots/l/503748-valkyria-chronicles-playstation-3-screenshot-world-map-with.jpg) like "Verijssel" instead of the real "Overijssel (https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/thumb/f/f9/Overijssel_in_the_Netherlands.svg/250px-Overijssel_in_the_Netherlands.svg.png)" or the existing-in-real-life Deventer (https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/thumb/1/16/Deventer_brink.JPG/800px-Deventer_brink.JPG).

Give me yours! Obvious ones are welcome too. Pictures are encouraged!

Edit: maybe the title should say 'fictional videogame places'. Oh well!

Well, the Assassin's Creed series is based in real life places and after playing ACII it made me really excited to go to Florence for my honeymoon. The city has gone mostly untouched over the centuries and I spotted many a building that was in the game!

I was kinda thinking more of fictional videogame locations vs. real world, like this guy did for dark souls and the town of St. Michel in France (http://imgur.com/a/4ZUAR) :p

I'm flying to Fiji on Saturday and I really hope it's going to be something similar to Besaid Island!

Well in World of Warcraft (the original one before Cataclysm) the Shimmering Flats existed and those are based off of the salt flats in Utah

Pretty much the entire world of The Last of Us seemed to be based on Harpurhey in North Manchester.

That Dark Souls/ Mont Saint Michel thing is great. I always loved Dark Souls for that reason. I really did feel like I was walking through medieval europe.
For saying that's such a cliched setting for fantasy, few games actually capture the feel as well as Dark Souls.
