It's not all that much if you have a full time job.

>>> Yeah, and if I had a full time job I could not have enough time to play an online game, isnt it ironic? :luca:

How many hours is a full time job where you live? Here, it's 8 hours a day, 5 days a week. That leaves plenty of time to play for maybe 3 hours on weekdays, and over 8 hours on saturday and sunday.

>>> I guess is more like 10 hours a day... Anyways you cant do trout with 3 hours on weekdays, and over 8 hours on saturday and sunday of gaming. Waste of money in my opinion (unless you are unemployed of course :D) :luca:

How would you know how much can be done in 3 hours on weekdays and 8 hours on weekends when you haven't played the game?

>>> Well, I have played almost all the other FF games out there. Is that not good enough reference? :luca:

Then you would know that 3x5 and 2x8 hours is enough to beat any of the snes final fantasies

Not to mention that this game isn't the kind of game you "beat", it's a theme park kind of thing where you can do whatever and keep doing it. If you're interested in playing with other people and growing bonds with them while having fun playing a game together, then this is a great game for that. If you're looking to just play the game for story once and then "finish" it, this game will keep you occupied for years because like most MMOs, you can't really finish it - they just keep adding more content.

>>> Yeah this game sound like fun, but with those prices there is no way i can pay every month to play it.
Maybe I could pay $13 every 2 or 3 months or something. :luca:

You can do that. It's no problem to play the game, then take a break for a month, and then play some more the month after. Play only this game and no other games for one month, then take a break and play your other games. Then you can play FF14 again the next month.
You get a month free included with the initial purchase. Adding one month to that would give you two months in total. You can get far in the game in two months, if you just stay focused.
The game disc itself costs about 20 bucks or less, depending on which platform you intend to play on. If you want to get it for PC, make sure it is powerful enough by downloading the free benchmarking tool.
I wouldn't recommend getting it for PS3, as the performance is pretty bad there.

If you want to play a MMO I suggest Guild Wars 2. It's free to play, and if you buy the new expansion you get the core game free. No subscriptions.
EDIT: Oh, nevermind. I see you only have a PS3 for playing :(

Import it.
You probably don't need the expansion right away. It will drop in price in time, so get it later.

Just do what I do and focus on a certain area in the game. I don't have the time with work/social life to do everything. I mean, you can craft, level grind, gear grind, Gold Saucer grind, and much more. Pick 1 or 2 from them and you're golden. :)

Funny how the word "grind" was used three times in one sentence. Don't forget craft grind!
