So yeah, topic?

I mean, maybe we could play together?

Or maybe even hold a tournament? :eek:

I actually could technically get Smash Bros. for the 3DS, but I'd feel like I'm missing out from the bigger brother version of the Wii U. I'd miss the big screen.

It's still great on the 3DS, and there's actually cross-play so you can get both and benefit from it... In some way that I don't know yet ^^;

I do when I'm out and about, but when I'm home, I always prefer to play the Wii U version.

The main reason is that the Wii U stages are much better. The 3DS stages have hazards or otherwise stupid designs that interfere with the game too much to the point I almost always play on omega modes even if there are a small handful of courses I can tolerate; but there aren't really any 3DS courses I actively like. The Wii U has a much more rounded set, and while there are a few bad apples, they are so far the minority that it seldom bothers me when they come up.

I haven't played Smash in a bit, but I do keep up with updates and the DLC stuff for both versions. I am actually one of the few that likes to play single player stuff. I would play more multiplayer, but online matches with strangers always feel pretty cold to me. And my problem with Tourneys is that everyone wants to pretend they are at EVO and turn all items off, play on Final Destination, and you are only allowed to pick two or three characters. Before anyone piles on me for my contrarian views, I understand the skill and fun of playing that way, but it's not for me.

I still play casually. I play Melee if I want to be competitive. :p

Hard to play a game you don't own.

That, and I'm kind of afraid it'll break my 3DS.

I got it on the 3ds first and later bought it on Wii U, I prefer the Wii U because of the bigger screen which is easier to see the hazards and navigate.
