IV was my first numbered game. But Mystic Quest was my actual first. But no, it wasn't my first RPG. I'd previously played Pokemon and Diablo, of all things :erm:

VI and no, my first RPG was some sort of text-based D&D game for Commodore 64.

fake edit: Oh, JRPG. My first JRPG was Super Mario RPG I think.

Final Fantasy VI was the first I played when I was young because it was my father's favorite, but I also played FFI and FFIV around the same time.

Hehe! I think I was 10 when I first saw X so all that went through my mind at the time was "the girls in this game are pretty" +___+ "Those magic affects and monsters look cool". And somehow the following weekend VIII was on sale at Kmart and I begged my mum for it xD Then my little brain opened up to the FFness :D

The original & it was my first JRPG. This was before there were any Chinpokomons, or Call of Juries, or whatever you whipper-snappers are playing these days.

I love the names. The original FF was my first FF, and the first JRPG I remember playing. It's still one of my favorites, too. :)
