North Carolina is very pretty and the Charlotte, Chapel Hill, and Asheville locations are really nice. Plus it's not like "True South" much anymore.

Utah is a second. It's damn beautiful and the people are nice though I've only been in Salt Lake City and the Cache Valley area.

I think it's really depending on perspective, I personally, can't stand Utah.

Vermont Seems like it would be a nice place though

Kansas' pretty underrated, ya know. I mean we raised Superman, Dorothy, and the Winchesters, and what thanks do we get? Not even a Superbowl or a WrestleMania to host. What a bunch of ungrateful douchebags :colbert:

When were you in Asheville? I didn't give you leave to be within my borders!

Seconding New Jersey as most people who talk bad about have only been through New Jersey (basically Newark) and not actually spent decent time there, or they watched Jersey Shore and made their judgements based on that. Jersey Shore isn't even about people from New Jersey; they're from New York. New Jersey is close enough to NYC so you get a part of the city life and when you're out of it you get the joys of the woods and quiet. Also NJ has the best Six Flags hands down. I really love Pennsylvania too and it's Omish country.

I had a great time in Tennessee back when I stayed there for a little over a month back in 1996. Very friendly people. I mean, it could have been just the immediate area I was in, but I just remember have a good time. Scenery was nice, too.

I remember Asheville being like this little hippie paradise in the mountains. I love it. :)

Montana looks pretty. I bet my kids and dogs would love running around up there.

Oregon is a pretty lovely state. Astoria was gorgeous and the coastline in general is very scenic.

Those 7 wonders of Oregon commercials are pretty compelling. But some of that is offset by all the hipsters.

I'm quite fond to being in a state of inebriation.

Ohio has a wide array of very nice cities, and its geography varies quite a bit as well - the state parks in the southeast have the texture and vibe of some of the southern states. It's also generally a nice mix of conservative and progressive values that I enjoy quite a lot (hence its status as a swing state). It'll always be home to me.

Pennsylvania, on the other hand...

How have all of these people (the two of you) been to my city without my knowledge?!

Freya and Pumpkin know best. It's amazing how many people in this country don't even know Vermont is a state -_-

It was a long time ago. Like... 2007. The Hubs wants to see the Smoky Mountains, so if we make it up that way again, you will have advance knowledge.

I don't know how underrated this is though.

Plasma really never gets enough love. Part of me wants to say Superfluids but as soon as you show someone a Superfluid they immediately recognize it as amazing.

Superfluids always leave me cold.

And plasma gets all the action in movies. I'm all for the liquid state.
