Where did everyone holiday this year? and does anyone have any amazing plans and trips planned for 2016? even if they're not booked, its still good to plan ahead :)

For me, 2015 will be the year I visited America, when I went to Las Vegas baby (https://scontent-lhr3-1.xx.fbcdn.net/hphotos-xpt1/v/t1.0-9/11111128_1407455572914304_3906305414541813592_n.jpg?oh=5c15f47de9624b370afb7e545d30274a&oe=571D4970)! We went the end of May, came back early June, I forget the dates, but we went for a week.

It was an incredible experience and one I can hopefully re-live. My boyfriend plays poker and he won a seat on the plane along with 100 other poker players in the UK (from a pub league, they host tournaments for the Vegas 100 - if anyone wants in - let me know) and do heats across the country and online. My partner won his online (his 2nd too, he went the year before and took his Dad)

We all stayed at the Orleans Casino and Hotel.

and part of the prize is a half price guest ticket ie. ME! (https://scontent-lhr3-1.xx.fbcdn.net/hphotos-xlp1/v/t1.0-9/10423288_1404924033167458_9151014833874232977_n.jpg?oh=79c29e11159c7c3cd14bcfb386548e29&oe=570D161A)! I don't gamble or play poker but it was the holiday of a life time, it really was. I did the zipline off the Rio Casino! (https://scontent-lhr3-1.xx.fbcdn.net/hphotos-xpt1/v/t1.0-9/11401030_1408714396121755_8350739607011918926_n.jpg?oh=89190ff3c0efad3b16a81eab0e2f9a4a&oe=572164F3)

I also got chance to go shopping  (https://scontent-lhr3-1.xx.fbcdn.net/hphotos-xfp1/v/t1.0-9/11011680_1408525176140677_5617621273816760968_n.jpg?oh=cc362936308b59afa027693bfd024103&oe=571EFC40)

We were so jet lagged that we were all propper tripping. Our friend stayed by the roulette table all night every night (no concept of day/night XD) and he decided to crash out asleep on the floor on his hotel room. Long story short; the security guards woke him up with defribulators asking where he was from and how much money he had. I can just imagine it 'MATE, CALM DOWN IM DAVE, IM FROM LIVERPOOL'.

We called him defribulator dave from then on.

I found the heat somewhat pleasant aswell, it hit 100F on a couple of days we were though (an omg im an english rose, im dyin) but I wore factor 30 every day, and I came back as white as I left..

I'd move there if I could and work behind the pool bar at the Orleans with Nancy. Any day!

As for 2016.. hopefully he wins another Vegas seat, but being made redundant before xmas certainly ruins any hopes I had of a big holiday, unless I decide to just travel the world, which I might :jess:

We went on two abroad holidays this year and also had a trip down south. We went to Noo Yoik in June and visited all the places there, and then also hung out with a http://i.imgur.com/WAmcZBp.jpg. We went to Barcelona in September for the weekend and that http://i.imgur.com/PW5iFrU.jpg. We also drove down to England and visited Psychotic and then over to Cambridge to hang with THERE ARE NO PICTURES OF THIS EVENT.

New York was a better holiday, but Barcelona and our local road trip was really great regardless.

NEXT YEAR we have New York again for a wedding or something, London for a meet-up or something and then maybe Rome depending on available time and money.

I look forward to seeing you there. Still time for me to steal you before I lose you to Dat Matt forever!

Are you going to Rome too!?

I jest, we will hang out some time, meet-up or not! And join the queue, so many people after me. I just have that animal magnetism.

Anyway, I edited some cool pictures into my last post to show off my 2015 holidays in key picture format.

I was so jealous of your key picture format, I copied.

Any time you're passing through (its Manchester SO YOU WILL AT SOME POINT) we'll hang. But definitely London, I got you then!

We went on a short trip across Texas this year. Went down to the Gulf, hit up some eoff nerds there. We went to the riverwalk in San Antonio. That was lovely. It was a great experience. We also did some hiking in some random place that had a really cool natural spring waterfall thing.

I'd like to go on more camping/hiking trips.

I didn't go on holiday at all this year.

Well, unless moving to a completely new country counts.

I also did not go on holiday this year, but I did move across states and have felt like I've been on holiday since I arrived.

I didn't go on holiday, just had a bunch of smelly Brits crash at my house. Still haven't gotten the stink out.

I think they make a special conditional for that.

I'm pretty sure I'm one of maybe six people in the world who don't care for holidays. They don't suck. I don't hate them. They just get in the way of my life.

I like holidays, but it is always nice to go back home. But then those holiday blues hit & I'm all like *DEEP SIGH* "TAKE ME BACK!"

I went to Rome and had a fantastic time. It was really really hot but the people were really friendly, the ice cream was the business and oh I guess the sights were ever so slightly magnificent. Oh, and there's a cat sanctuary in the ruins of an old Roman building and it is the best fucking thing.

Unexpectedly went to New Orleans this year. It was supposed to be for work by I ended up having fun there too and getting a chance to explore after my work was done for the day. I got to meet up with people I haven't seen in years and they took me out to eat. The food in New Orelans is an amazing experience. I also got to see the crazy side of New Orleans but it wasn't nearly as crazy as it is during Madi Gras. It's definitely a party city with casinos a mere feet away from the hotel I was put up at. I even got to go see a few performances for free at the music fest with a few co workers and we want to a bar and after party after. That was a blast. I would definitely go there again and explore the French Riveria a little more. Oh and the beginning of this year I went to California twice. Once with my bf and once without. The second time was more of a vacation because we went to a amusement park.

I went to NYC for new years eve this year and it was probably the best way I could've started the year. I got to see my best friend who I had not seen for 5 years at the time, and I'm gonna go back to see her sometime soon. Or at least I won't wait 5 years!

And I'm pretty sure most people know about next year's holiday, I've only been going on about it for 8 months now ;)

New Year's Eve hasn't happened yet this year, or are you a time traveler? :p

Back on topic, I haven't went on vacation in ~12 years. Considering the fascist regime that controls the airports, I'd rather not.
