How do cucumbers work?

I have like two of them in the fridge and have no idea what to do with them that isn't pickling or just throwing them at a plate of lettuce and calling it a salad.

slice them up put them on some bread and put mayo and herbs/spices/salt on them. it's pretty good actually.

In summer I like to add slices of cucumber to water, along with some lemon. They also go fabulously in a gin and tonic! Otherwise I'll just eat them as they are with guacamole/salsa/houmas/dip of choice. I love cucumbers!

You can use them in a sandwich. I personally think it goes well with tuna. Or if you like enchiladas you can dice cucumber and put some. It's filling and you won't even taste them. Cook it in stir fry as well.

Yeah, it's not too bad. I like it with tea. It feels like a summer/spring dish, and it makes a light breakfast. I like it best on breads with crunchy crusts, like a Cuban roll or a brotchen.

You can try a splash of lime or lemon juice in it to give it a little zing.

I tend to just have them shaved without the skin on a salad. Taste of absolutely nothing and not much use for anything else,.......except the aforementioned (or at least alluded to) rude uses!!

Update!

So, I found a super yummy recipe for a Vietnamese tofu salad that cured my need for something to use my cucumber for.
I had never had Vietnamese sweet chili sauce before. How have I never had this flavor introduced to me?!

I hate cucumbers. The most I do with them is slice them up n put em in my water. On a few occasions Im ok with having em in rice paper rolls (with a whole heap of other vegetables) because I can't taste it.

Cucumbers have always seemed flavorless to me so I've never really used them in anything unless I'm making a cucumber sauce for gyros or tacos.
