Or has it been ruined forever?

When a piece of food fall to the ground I pick it up, remove the hair, and eats it.

It depends on what kind of food and which area it fell.

Depends on the food, and how long it has been since i vacuumed or washed the floor. When I visit my parents, I usually eat things that have fallen to the floor. When I'm at home, I usually don't. You can probably deduce why.

If it's something wet and soft like a piece of meat probably not. If it's some hard and dry like a crisp then it depends on the floor.

No. The moment I start worrying about whats latched onto my food after its come into contact with something other than the plate its served on or my mouth, my appetite's lost.

Yeah...too open a question.

If it fell on the pavement outside for example then Nooooooo....that smurf is gone.

If it fell on the kitchen floor, possibly if it looks clean.

Your parents treat you like a dog and feed you with floor scraps, but when you're in your dog house they feed you in your dog bowl :holmes:

Depends. If I hesitate to pick it up then I probably don't put it in my mouth.
I think trusting your instincts is the best route to go.

What if you're eating peas, and one falls to the ground and gets a hair on it. Do you take the hair off and eat, or throw it away?

Why would I be eating peas? They're gross.
Also, I have two cats. Chances are, there's hair on everything I put in my mouth anyway. :P

If it is visibly contaminated, then definitely not.

If I spent more than a few bucks on it or it's something really good then yes. But if I drop like, an ounce of canned soup? Nah.

depends on the food really, also what it looks like when i pick it up.

Naturally there are exceptions, but generally yeah, I just think 'don't be so soft' and eat it. Nom Nom.

Of course, utilisation of the 5-second rule is important

. I wouldn't drop it, leave it for like an hour, then pick it up and eat it.

Nope ! Uh-Uh ! The 5 second rule doesn't exist, once the food hits the floor, that food is fucked. Germs and dust and hairs don't taste very nice :/

Only if it's my own floor.

Germs and dust taste fine with a little salt. Hair is an acquired taste, though.

Does a gay bear have anonymous sex in the woods? Hell yeah.

That is my answer.

Not wet foods and not if I can't rember the last time I mopped
