Anyone else a fan of this show? I've just started watching it on Netflix and I'm so hooked.

That episode in series one with the strangler oh my GAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAD.

Idris Elba is amazing.

I haven't watched it yet but It's on my list. I have heard amazing things! Plus I love Idris Elba so there's that.

I think sometimes it gets a bit silly, and really the overarching plot of this series isn't interesting me as much as the individual crime stories which are sooo intense. Idris Elba is amazing in it, and he plays the part so well.

Luther is worth watching only because of Idris Elba. I watched it a couple of years ago, and I can barely remember any other characters. It's otherwise a straight procedural-thriller with their typically fantastical criminals and plots ("sometimes a bit silly" is about right), but Elba's great and his character's great.

We started watching this, this week. We're on Season 2 now.

Luther needs to stop going places by himself. He gets into danger too much that way.

Me: OH HE YAWNED AND SHE DIDN'T.
BF: and?
Me: they say that psychopaths don't yawn because yawning is a sign of empathy, which they lack.

Luther then says that exact thing so I got all :smug:

I like the crazy lady, she's crazy.
