Which Operation Rainfall games have you played.

So a friend lent me a copy of Wind Waker because I never played it before, but unfortunately, after setting up my Wii to play the game, it turned out the disc was too scratched up to be read. Not wishing to pass up the chance to use my Wii, I started playing Pandora's Tower, the final game in the Operation Rainfall campaign. It's been pretty interesting so far. Having played and beaten the other two entries, it got me wondering how many people on this forum have played these entries because I hear a lot about Xenoblade Chronicles, and occasionally The Last Story, but no one ever talks about Pandora's Tower.

So which ones did you play, and were your favorite/least favorite?

I've played them all and my favorite is pretty obvious :cool: But I enjoyed the other two a lot as well. I wish I could have spent more time on Pandora's Tower and get the best ending, but the one I did get was pretty satisfying

I've played Xenoblade and I have no real interest in the other two.

I haven't beaten any of them, but I own them all. I am working on xenoblade chronicles which would have to be my favorite. I played a good chunk of Pandora's tower in college and really enjoyed what I played of it. I think I liked it more than xenoblade at the time, but I think it just happened to be the type of game I was in the mood for at the time.

I don't know when I'll ever get around to the last story.

Played them all, purchased legit, to support the cause, but really only got into Xenoblade. I almost enjoyed Last Story, but the focus on only two characters, while everyone else is just a trope, a barely fleshed out trope, really didn't do it for me. Though I gave it more of a chance than Pandora's Tower. That game completely rubbed me the wrong way. Effectively a poor man's 3D Castlevania game with only two other characters, and some weird plot that didn't make much sense, I wasn't invested enough to figure it out. The environments seemed bland and uninspired, the controls were wonky, and there really wasn't a lot going on. Repetitive monsters, barren landscapes, vague curses and horrible character cliches with bad voice acting. I'm not sure what I was expecting, but that was not it. It's probably a better game than I give it credit for, it just really rubbed me the wrong way. Probably because I paid full price long after its release, and it wasn't as enjoyable as it should have been. I guess somewhere inside, I was wondering why they put so much effort petitioning to get it released in the first place xD I may give it another go someday

The Last Story is the only one I've played. It was okay and fun for what it was., just didn't hit home really great. I own Xenoblade Chronicles, but haven't played it yet. Toooo mannnnyyy gaaaammmessssessss, precious. :omgomg:

The Last Story was cool but what ruined it for me was the focus on the main couple. Two of the blandest characters in existence, I swear to God :roll2 The rest of the party was pretty awesome, though. Yes, the characters on their own we're pretty simple, as we didn't get to explore them as much as Zael and Callista, but at least they showed SOME personality and the interactions between them really made the game feel alive
