Anyone been doing it this year? If so you're on the home stretch, congratulations!

This is the third year in a row I've done it, and the second time I'll have completed it (last year I gave in about 5 days in), and I certainly won't be doing it next year. It's boring!

So anyone else doing it/done it/going to do it? How're you faring?

Matt and I have done the opposite, and for the first time in ages, have had an alcoholic beverage every single weekend since the beginning of the year.

I have toned down my drinking quite a bit as I notice my body has a little bit of trouble handling it now. However if you put a beer in front of me I can't say no. I'm hoping Febuary will be a little dryer than January.

It's been kind of a dry year so far but unintentionally. I'm a social drinker and I just haven't felt like being very social. No particular reason for that either.

I do that by accident. :p I don't really drink that much.

Shockingly, people can live a perfectly normal and thrilling life without really drinking alcohol.

I haven't had any alcohol because uh... I didn't feel like it I guess? Did I in December? I may have at one point in December. Maybe November

Yeah, whoops. I failed the second it turned midnight. Though I have been drinking less for the past few months now.

I did this last year and it was great. Had my last drink at 11:55pm and saw through the whole month. It was nowhere near as hard as I thought it was going to be.

I failed miserably this year as I was still drinking (heavily) during the first two weeks of January. I then committed to a 'dry second half of January' and I already feel loads better. Exercising and eating healthy helps too. It's amazing how refreshed you feel every morning when you wake up. Hopefully I can keep this going for a couple of months. Starting back up again is always the hardest part.

Yeah, don't drink and don't intend to start, so I guess every month is a dry month.

Yup ! Dry January 24/7

Sometimes people make me WANT to drink though; but that's another story :/
