Take out, eat-out, or just make it at home?

Depends for me!

I always cool, occasionally going to a restaurant in the weekend. It helps that I've become a pretty awesome cook over the years

When I had more money I used to go out all the time. Now that things are tighter I usually cook something at home.

Yeah those three get regular rotation but it's usually a cook-at-home job.

I cook a lot. Very occasionally I'll go grab something or go sit at a restaurant but I cook a lot.

Usually either myself or my partner cook the food (mostly her) at home.

Sometimes (but only occasionally) we will get take out.

Even rarer, we MAY eat out at a restaurant a couple of times a year.

Make something @ home & take out are what I mostly do.

Eating out is only about once in a while.

I loooooove cooking and look forward to it! But a takeaway is also nice once in a while, as is going out for grub! So a bit of everything!

I think our average was 5 or 6 meals cooked at home a week, one take out, and occasionally eat out one night.

I normally just heat up some pasta or make a sandwich.

I've been super shitty lately about making my own meals. I would come home from work and run right out with friends/boyfriend/to a show and leave myself zero time for preparing food, so it's been fast food/food on the go for a while now.

However, I bought a bunch of groceries to force that change out of myself because it's a bad habit both fro my body and for my wallet.

It definitely depends. I'm far more inclined to eat-out when I have a job. If I had a test that day I'll reward myself by ordering a pizza. But if I'm jobless/didn't have a test you best believe I'm whipping up some tasty stuff of my own.

We try to go out about once a week or so, depending on the bank account. Otherwise, we cook.

I'm in pharmacy school usually from 8am to about 7pm so when I get home the last thing I have energy for is to cook. So.. usually for me it is either grab something on the way home or heat up something quick I can eat. I'd like to say that once I'm less busy I will cook more. Hopefully the habit doesn't stick! :ohdear:

Somehow take-out never seems like an options to me. The best places close at 6 PM, and I can't make that with work.

Take-out really isn't as ingrained into our civilization as it is in the States.

I work second shift, 3pm-11pm so I'm not home for dinner. Bri usually makes me something to bring with me though. And she cooks at home or we eat at my parents house on weekends when visiting. She also cooks while I'm off at work too. lots of cooking!

Me and Mr. Carny tend to cook, with the occasional takeaway. As to who does the cooking, Mr. Carny leads on the cooking, while I tend to do more general cleaning and tidying. I'd say about a 3:1 ratio cooking-wise.

I usually like to cook my babies at home because people seem to have an aversion to boiling and baking infants for some reason. It's weird.

Make it at home, cause i have more spare time than money.

I'm definitely an eat-at-home kinda guy, but I never argue with going out for wings. ;)

I wish I knew how to make more things for dinner or lunch, but I just try to keep it cheap and save my $$ for other things. So even as a late 20's guy, I still eat like a college kid. :D

My dinner will come to me when I put candies outside my house.
