Which is it that you are using right now in the winter time? Or are you okay with the temperature outside that you don't need to use either one. As for me? Cold or warm out, I use a fan in the bedroom. Now I have another one in the living room.

My room is one of the hottest rooms in the house, so I find myself having to turn the fan on every now and again to cool it out. I do like having both options, though, especially during the summer.

Ceiling fan set on winter setting. When it gets hot I'll switch it back.

I have a ceiling fan on to circulate the heat but outside of that, no AC/fan on in the winter.

EDIT: Oh yeah and in the summer, I would die without it on. Die. Dead.

The UK as a country doesn't believe in A/C which sucks! Our office has it though and there's constant wars over whether or not it should be on in the summer.

What?

And of course it should be on during the summer!

As an Australian it's basically a requirement to be a fan of ACDC.

In a country where the average temperature will sit around 15C (approx 59F) you really don't need A/C. Which makes it difficult when it climbs to a roasting 20C because then all you can do is open a window and hope that there's enough breeze to cool the room.

This is true in our office too. Except the war is real as to whether it should be on in the winter too. I'm not even shitting you. I spent last year sitting next to a girl all summer who complained she was so cold she needed an electric fan heater on under the desk IN JUNE! It was 30+ outside! I don't even know where to begin with how wrong that was.

ACDC=Awesome

Central Air is a must here, AC in the summer (set to 72F), heat in the winter (set to 75F). Otherwise, I'd have to to walk around in my boxers to stay cool in the summer, or walk around in my boxers in the winter... because I'm so hot. :lol:

Hate fans. Hate is a powerful word and I HATE fans. The sound drives me nuts and I don't like the sensation of something blowing on me... oh wait, maybe I love fans.

I hate both. Is so freaking cold here already that if a fan is on, it better be blowing hot air.

AC. Could not live without AC. Fans are horseshit and just blow the hot air around.

I use a fan but I'm thinking of getting a second one so I don't burn out the motor since I leave it on pretty much 24 hours a day in the summer

I like to have both. AC for temp, fan for the wind and circulation

Can't say I recommend putting any bits near a fan.
