This poor dragoon. Being the first (i think) was put in the game and did almost nothing. Sacrificed his life to save the heroes. But thats it really. Poor guy. I really like dragoons but this guy falls short of cool status

thoughts? Am i wrong? I hope so.

yes. sorry i may have worded wrong. im sure he was the first dragoon you ever see in an FF game, but im just going by that there is none in ff1.

For some reason I always thought he was named Kain and there were two Kain Highwinds (the other in FFIV).

I pity him cause he is so weak when he joins the team.

I always give Richard a Spear instead of a Sword.
He really should've had a Spear anyway, since it would fit him much better because he is a Dragoon etc.
And besides, there is a great Ice Spear in Mysidia Tower and an even greater Bolt Spear in Paramekia, so it feels like a waste to not make him a Spear-wielder.
