Today is the day everyone's favorite gambler, Setzer, celebrates his birthday!

Setzer surely made an impression with his charisma and bravado in FFVI. As the owner of the world's only airship, he is fearless and always gets what he wants. The party first meets him as he tries to abduct the beautiful Maria, but he gets outwitted when he gives in to his one true love - gambling.

As a character with the gambler class, Setzer is the first Final Fantasy character to use the slots skill. You can of course equip him with the Heiji's Jitte relic to change that into Gil Toss, which may be more reliable, but also much less fun. He is also one of the first characters designed by Tetsuya Nomura.

Setzer was truly a great charictor in the Final Fantasy Series! He was always fun to play with especially once you obtained the fixed dice. He felt like every time you used him it would be a gamble. He was a main stay in my party once he was there, and he is one of my favorite all time FF cast members. Happy birthday high roller!

Setzer really grew to be one of my favorite characters in FFVI. I still feel the section in Daryl's tomb is one of my favorite moments in the game.

Happy Birthday Setzer ! Always remember seeing your sprite in the psone FFVI manual and thought that you were a woman. ^^;
