View Full Version : Going to get somewhere with this game this time!

S my history with VII isn't great. When it came out I was able to borrow disk 1 from a friend, got to the end of it but he was still on disk 2 so I had to wait. When he finished disk 2 I had other things I had to do and never had a chance to play it due to career and life so it stayed with disk 1. Fast forward 7 years and I see it for sale in a shop for $10. What a great deal and I buy my copy of the game. Get home play it until the end of disk one and my PlayStation started to smoke (not really but it destroyed itself)and it was the end of that. Destroyed disk 2 when I put it in had maybe 2 mins of it before it went poof. I have some time on my hands now, and today grabbed a new copy of the game. This time I am determined to finally play this game I've been waiting to play since the 90's. I can't wait!

Sounds like your old PlayStation could not contain teh awesomeness. Either that or Sephiroth is messing with ya.

Enjoy it man, FFVII is a classic.

Just finished the first core reactor. Had to save there because of life stuff but hope my laptop doesn't cave in when disc 2 starts.

Discs are evil. My disc would always freeze at Cosmo Canyon during that conservatory scene. when the meteor would fly behind Tifa's head. I've despised meteors and Tifa ever since.

Best of luck! You could always do the Steam version. or but it on PSN and play on a PSP, Vita, or PS3.

Hopefully this time you're able to get through that phenomenal game :)

I hope you have better luck than I did on my most recent play through.

you're having my luck with it I saw. Haven't gotten far yet this try. Cloud is just in his cross dressing stage trying to court the "Boss"

I've decided to Emulate this time. Unless my laptop goes caput it should be fine.
