Are You Excited for 2016 in Gaming?

I am super pumped for all dem good games coming out, how about you?

Any gamer should be excited. With new technology comes new great games, or bugged games. What is there not to be excited about!

Uncharted, FFXV, Kingdom Hearts 3, Deus Ex, Persona 5 (never played any, but I want to). It seems like a year a lot have been waiting for. I'm very excited.

The third year of a generation is typically when a lot of great games start coming out and 2016 looks to hold to that trend. Starting next month it looks like there's a big game I'm looking forward to coming out every month. And hopefully some of the Japanese stuff that came out earlier or on the horizon makes it out by the end of the year.

This is also going to be a pretty big year for high end PC gaming with the first generation of DirectX 12 games coming out, HDR monitors, a new DisplayPort standard allowing for 4K resolutions to break the 60fps barrier, and the new Polaris and Pascal HBM2 GPUs from AMD and Nvidia.

April sees two of my most anticipated games of the year release; Quantum Break on the 5th, and Uncharted 4 on the 29th. Of course by then we'll know the release date for Final Fantasy XV as well soooo YES, I'm very excited for 2016 :)

Also I have a feeling that E3 is going to be amazing this year! Horizon: Zero Dawn, Detroit, PlayStation VR, more new IP's, potential Nintendo NX news, and hopefully a good showing from Microsoft as well.
