...The First Avenger and The Winter Soldier back-to-back? Or do you only watch one at a time? Personally, I can't wait for when Civil War comes out on Blu-Ray because then I'll have an entire trilogy to watch and hopefully the third one is nothing like that lackluster third movie in the Christopher Nolan Batman franchise.

I remember the first Captain America movie being absolutely terrible and have no interest in ever watching it again.

The Captain America movies don't really work like a standard trilogy since a lot of it is built off of the Avenger films.

Of the Marvel Universe, the Captain America films are the most tied to S.H.I.E.L.D, and the Avengers in general. Because of this, it is probably best to watch them together with the first Avengers film. Iron Man and Thor don't rely so heavily on the Marvel arc, so they can be watched pretty much standalone. It's still probably best to watch them all as they released, though.
