Chocobo or Moogles in FF1??

If SE decided to remake FF1 again for some reason, would you want them to add chocobos in the game? or Moogles? both are now series staples soooooo yeah. just a questiono. i love chocobos so i wouldnt mind seeing them. i wouldnt use them much, but theyd be useful getting between elfheim and marsh cave.

(idk if chocobos are in the psp version, or hidden in the gba version)

I prefer moogles, but I think chocobos are probably easiest to add. Moogles generally interact with the characters (NPC or PC) so they'd have to have story added. Chocobos are just transport and could be added in very easily.

If they add Chocobos, then I really hope that they play the full Chocobo Theme.
It really bothered me how the Origins version of Final Fantasy 2 used the half-finished theme without the chorus just because that's what it sounded like in the original Famicom version.
There is no reason to do that, I guarantee that almost everyone would have welcomed the full Chocobo Theme there.

There is a reason to do that. The latter half wasn't composed by then, so if you added that, you wouldn't be rearranging the old track, but a new one that was never part of the FFII OST

Yeah I think it'd be a nice little update to include them. Stick in the likes of cactuars, tonberries et al in random encounters. Apologies to all palette swapped Imps and Giants.

The Chocobo Theme from the original FF2 has the exactly same verse as the full version, though - if you remove the chorus then it's identical to the Chocobo Theme that is being played in almost all other FF games.

Also, the FF Origins version added a completely new part to the World Map Theme, which was much shorter in the Famicom version.
If they could make that change then they really could have added the chorus to the Chocobo Theme.
