Its come to this.....I am so bored and impatient, I have now taken to Thread Starting in the Final Fantasy 4 forum...

But I do have something genuine to discuss. Its a about the good and bad points, for example: the three different levels of world you visit in this game. The ground world, the underground world and the moon.

In this era they couldn't do fancy graphics so they used their creativity in another way by doing cool things with world maps.

I think Final Fantasy 4 is good at doing this, even though I think the translation is terrible so I couldnt understand the story, and it seems to take ages to level up to decent spells (unless youre able to complete some ultra difficult sidequest.)

So FF4 whats its good points and bad points for you?

Good points:

Strong cast of characters with distinct and memorable personalities
Great music
Probably the most balanced combat system in the series.
Pretty good dungeon design
Best Chocobo Theme
Golbez is one of the series best antagonists.

Bad points:

The constant fake deaths kind of kill the drama on later playthroughs
The plot overall is really campy for the series.
While it's the most balanced gameplay, it's also one of the least interesting since the game has the most basic of customization
Zemus/Zermus could have been better implemented into the story.

This so much ! Later playthroughs ?? More like your very first ! All the characters coming back almost ruined the whole game for me; all those big sacrificing for nothing. Thankfully the game's fantastic character development and storytelling keeps you going. AND THAT MUSIC !

Yep, remember the music being good.
I can't remember the monk's name but I think he had a fake death and later on I find him in some cave/hidden building somewhere and the people around him tell me he needs time alone or some crap. And I'm like I WANT MY F**KING MONK BACK!
