The number of dogs I know are higher than the amount of Catholics in Azerbaijan
I'd be a minority in Azerbaijan!

You'd represent .00% of the population. If you go to Azerbaijan you'd seize to exist. It's math.
Well there go my vacation plans

According to Wikipedia, Azerbaijan is a popular tourist destination.
Is it really?
Maybe some people actually enjoy the lack of Catholics

I feel so uncultured for not knowing about Azerbaijan until now o.o And I shall not be booking a vacation there either xD
You'd disappear too, or is there another reason to avoid that God-forsaken (literally) place? XD

Well, if you guys bothered to watch Eurovision you'd know all about Azerbaijan!
And the Australians have no excuse, you were in it last year.

I hear the Azerbaijani nightlife is splendid other than the fact Catholics seems to cease taking up mass seemingly instantly.

Maybe the Catholics share the wine, attracting tourism?

I'd be a minority in Azerbaijan!Along with another 2/3 of the world's nations.

So this would actually be a great solution for overpopulation
It's not genocide if you're erased from existence and it looks like you were never there to begin with

You learn something new every day! Can I assume that you both tend towards the "liberal"/"progressive" side of the Roman Catholic Church, like me and Formy do in the Church of England?
Anywho, I had an inkling that the number of Catholics in Azerbaijan was low, but I had no idea it was THAT low. Why only 250?
I think Laddy already explained why

Yes I do lean towards the liberal side on most things, but not all

I've re-read the thread, and I still don't get it. Where's this explanation for why there's only 250? :noidea:

But .00% would equate to there literally being no Catholics. So it'd be closer to .0001%, or something.

I also didn't know that! :whoa:
It doesn't change a fact that Fynn is a good friend and it's a proof that atheists and catholics (and other religious people) can get along... if they're not radical, of course!
If you're good to me, I'm good to you - mutual respect is very important to me. :hattip:

I dunno. I believe people are people and their faith isn't the most important thing. You get good atheists and bad atheists and jerk Christians and kind Christians and mean Muslims and nice Muslims, etc. What matters is the individual I think
Plus all of my ex-bfs were Catholic and they were abusive cheaters so uh
Not gonna pretend they were better because they were religious
Yup. I am a practicing Catholic and I go to Church every Sunday even, and I am close friends with several atheists. Really, we CAN all coexist as long as we all remember everybody's people. Of course, that's easier said than done.
I am also a feminist. Yay

It's not easy in the country full of close-minded people, right?
I hate fanaticism, regardless of its type. :colbert:

Fynn you are like the definition of acceptance ^^ I also go to church every Sunday too and most of my friends are atheists xD My boyfriend is agnostic and his fam are buddhists. And I agree, religion or lack-of should not be the basis on who we choose to be friends with or help.

Is this like a 'who can be the most accepting' contest, I can join in too!
I'm a Christian with many non-Christian or non-religious friends, and I go to my University's Christian Union (which is apparently not a thing in Poland, surprisingly). I'm very accepting of others and I get bonus points for being bisexual.
This is all tongue-in-cheek, by the way. Don't read this and think I'm God's Gift :p

Well, I just view Catholics as atheists-in-waiting, so .

Only joking. She has her weird, archaic spirit rituals and I have my depressing, aimless, morally empty life without purpose or meaning.

I was baptised and all that stuff but I haven't practiced Catholicism in years. We go to a few midnight masses or services every now and then if it's the anniversary of my Nonno's death or something, but I wouldn't call myself a catholic anymore.

Issues that people want to discuss academically belong in academia.
Here we're only having fun with the fact that there's some Catholic consuming void in Azerbaijan
