Also fanservice is hardly a thing to be scoffed at in a JRPG. They are marketed for teenage boys and teenage boys love nothing in the world more than sex, sex,and sex.

I'm not saying it's not. TRUST ME, I've noticed it in pretty much everything. But he said that WK must have been referring to X-2 when, actually, Rikku is also sexualized in X as well

I thought Rikku was a part of the game itself though. without her constantly in your face Yuna would be dead and there wouldn't be a X-2. She would have used the Final Summon and thus the end of Yuna of Seymour would have and the cycle continues a few years later after that calm.

i love both characters, they're actually my favorite type of character in these games, they bring the sugar and rainbows... but, i'd have to pick Rikku between these two...

Still doesn't make it right man, and frankly fanservice has grown into one of the worst elements of RPGs and by extension anime. I'm here for some story and gameplay, not to ogle some barely legal computer generated ass.

I prefer Rikku. I really came to appreciate her while playing FFX/X-2, and I don't particularly like Selphie.
