Tifa vs Scarlet: Who Wins?

I'm generally not mean to Tifa here, considering Scarlet has just tried to gas her. So I take out my real life tension by giving that sadistic bitch a good slapping.

But maybe I could let Scarlet win...on purpose next time.

It's a lose/lose situation for me as I don't particularly care for either character but considering you get so few opportunities to dig into Scarlet, I usually take it. Am I the only person who wonders how Tifa can even lose this fight? I mean she's a damn martial artist who piledrives dragons and she gets into a slap fight with Scarlet? Just break her damn nose and throw her off the cannon and be done with it.

I think that Scarlet could have been good as an antagonist in her own right, that's the only way i like her.

I love to hate her, basically.

I have occasionally lost this slap fight (not on purpose) but I always try my best to floor her.

I never quite understood the mechanics of it. It's not just button mashing, and I don't quite know the timing either. I've won it, and I've lost it, but I have no idea what I was doing any of the times I did it.

Breaking Tifa out of the gas chamber is a really fun minigame, though.
