"Dream Team"

We all got favorite characters from the games. These characters we put into our party 99% of the time. It doesn't matter if they are useful or you just like their designs. If you were allowed to use every character from every game, which four characters would be your dream team? Would you like to see Cloud, Squall, Zidane, and Tidus powerhouse the battles? Would you rather see Tifa, Rinoa, Garnet, and Yuna dominate the enemies?

Lightning and Zack!!!!! Locke and Celes are great addtions too but I would love to see the two real SOLDIERS in action.

Keeping the love interests of IX in there. If it was placed in the world of IX I'd love to see Cecil use that legendary Excalibur II.

I think it depends on the purpose of the team.

For a team I'd use to fight bosses and challenges and whatnot:

Celes - magic focused
Shadow - Throw focused
Farris - support focused
Orlandu - physical focused

Celes' great magic pool and ability to protect the team while restoring her mana via Runic make her an ideal mage at all stages of the game; Shadow covers stealing, albeit unreliably, as well as brings excellent damage via Throw and Interceptor; Farris has access to Mix and Blue Magic, which makes her an ideal support for the team as she can provide powerful, unique effects the others cannot; and Cid brings TONS of damage and utility to the team via his various blade skills, as well as crazy later game evasion tanking possibilities.

For a dream team to follow for story possibilities:

Farris
Balthier

I have NO idea what their story would be like, but I'll be damned if they don't end up with the One Piece before the end of it.
