Cosmo Canyon. It's beautiful and the music is too catchy. Plus you really start to learn things there from Bugenhagen.

Absolutely this. In fact, if my home town had a theme song playing constantly I'd want it to be the Cosmo Canyon theme.

When the remake is released, I'm going to progress the game up until Cosmo Canyon and just stay there. I'll spend hours of my day just exploring the environment. You guys will have to tell me how it ends... oh wait! I already know :smug:

Cosmo Canyon is up there and is an obvious favourite, but I forgot about the Icicle Inn! The interior was all warm and cosy, set by the cold winter snow.

Honestly, I'd have both.

Midagrd, sadly none of the other locations ever really impressed me beyond Midgard. Well maybe the Forgotten City.

Nothing an Ungermax to the face wouldn't cure.

Cosmo Canyon does it for me. I think it's due to its kinda remote location, as well as the stories we get from there about Nanaki's past and the history behind the Seto statue and his sacrifice. One of my favorite locations that is only visited briefly, but I think sometimes the best places are the one's that hold the most mystery.

Yes its very pretty there I agree. But as much as I like Yuffie, I wouldn't wanna live in the same town as her. She's okay to hang out with but.....hands off my materia bitch!

So many of them are great. That's one of the reasons I always loved the Final Fantasies of this era.

Kalm, Cosmo Canyon, Fort Condor, Junon, Icicle Inn, Bone Village

All brilliant. Can't wait to see them remade. Cosmo Canyon is the one that will probably be the most interesting to see in full 3D.

(FF9 still has better locations though :-P)

I've always loved the hidden laboratory at the bottom of Shinra Manor because 1, it is home to Vincent and 2, the music is so haunting.
