I was an elf on my first playthrough of BG. I did not know that then, but apparently that prevents Viconia from romancing you. Racist drow.

I went with an elf character in Inquisition because they were hotter than the humes. In the other games I was pretty nice to them and actually reset my game because I accidentally made a decision that forced me to massacre Merrill's tribe. Even though they are butts they don't deserve genocide!

I've played as an elf in both Origins and Inquisition. The elves are okay. A trifle fixated on the past.

I like the elves. I roleplayed as Tristan from the Brave Vesperia RP in my elven archer game of DA: I. It was great fun, and he looked bloody attractive. It was also great fun playing an archer in Inquisition compared to the others.

Some do look at their history too much, but I played my Tristan as a believer in the Maker as well as the Elven Gods, forming a hybrid of both, which I quite appreciated.

Why would you though, when you can resolve everything peacefully. Apart from Zathrian dying, I guess. He had it coming, though.
