Ok just turned this back on because... Well it's one of my favourite games of all time. I decided to to this after reading Midgar Mist's topic of the game. So far I only made it to the first split. Decided to turn on the SNES port (called Final Fantasy III in the US). Man how I missed this game!

Or the original. The translation is why I went with it over the GBA port I should say. It's was a little dirty compared to the other ports.

Interestingly, I am also playing FFVI again -- I'm trying out a Romhack though, to mix things up. :)

Are you planning to do something special this run, or are you doing a normal playthrough?

I used people more who sat in the airship my last playthroughs and just experimented a little more.

I'm playing though the game again but I'm having a hard time. I'm playing the PS1 port and it feels slow as nails. The animation to enter and exit battles takes really long as does opening the menus. I should really play the SNES version.
