Should he have stayed a Dark Knight and fought against the darkness within him?

Or did he choose the correct path by leaving the darkness behind and becoming a holy knight?

I prefer Cecil as a paladdin. He's very classy and it's good to have someone else who can do white magic. And, beside, Kain is the one who is fighting is darker side in the After Years so it would be too repetitive.

I like him both ways.
He is really cool and badass as a Dark Knight, yet still comes off as a kind and caring guy, and he looks noble and beautiful as a Paladin.
