I'm enjoying this so far. When Sakaguchi came on stage, I was like....
I feel the need to mute the bits where the hosts are talking. Which is very annoying when its over gameplay. But hey - cool trailer, game looks good, music is kicking some serious butt; the weird Florence and the Machine Stand By Me cover notwithstanding.

That car reveal was weak as smurf. They didn't properly reveal the fact, that they're making a real life version of the Final Fantasy XV car. Some music and Greg's silence would've helped that.

Either that or they don't really care about it succeeding directly. Maybe they're successful enough elsewhere that they can just throw money at a vanity project. I imagine this events doing wonders for their share prices.

Only thing I hated was the cringey, extremely terrible script. At least Greggy went off the script. I now see what they brought him for the event.

I would rather know if Boromir is also in the main game. I mean, apparently Regis is dead in FFXV - at least at one point, but that does not mean, he does not appear at all.
He was narrating the Sand by Me trailer. Regis, I mean. Not sure if that was Bean, but it might have been

With the movie actors not also doing the game, I'm not too worried, although I do hope they sound similar of course. I guess it makes sense; they're very used to doing film. But game acting often requires a different approach.

Took some time off this morning to check out the trailers from the event and I feel they did a pretty good job overall. Not sure how I feel about the anime/film spin-offs but we'll wait and see. I can't say this has made me jump up and decide to pick up a PS4 just yet but, at least there doesn't seem to be any glaring red signals I should be concerned about. Hopefully this game will restore some of the goodwill between the fans and SE.
