Special Edition Xbox One Announced!

The official Xbox Twitter page (https://twitter.com/Xbox/status/715388151838023680) recently announced a contest where you can win this freshly unveiled special FFXV-themed edition of the console. The console features an interesting design, to say the least, with a split-in-half look. One of the halves looks sleek in metallic with "Final Fantasy XV" written over the disc slot and a couple other metal ornaments, while the other half is a simple red stripe on a white background. The controller that comes with it gets a very similar treatment.

The red and white thing feels especially weird for FFXV which uses a dark and cool color scheme, whereas red is like the warmest color

Shouldn't the artwork on the console be a bit blurrier?

I think it symbolises the two opposing factions, with the dark side being the Regis family and the red/white side being the empire.

Either way, I'm not a huge fan of the way it looks.

Like the others, good concept with the opposing sides, but otherwise, bit clashy. Nice to see them throwing the XBone a, well, bone.

That's great news!
With the console manufacturer companies and publishers still working so much together, this shows that the console market is not dieing, as one of SE executives assumed so with FF15. He'd claimed the mobile industry would take it over. But the needs aren't the same, so i personally don't believe it.

Now I can't wait for the announcement of the PS4 Bundle!

Honestly not a lot. The design of it looks a little too American, even. With the stripes and all. I think most people realize that the Xbox platform primarily focuses on American based games, and cares very little about foreign games.

At least they're trying though, I guess.
