A generic nature shot. A warming family photo. A gazelle being mauled by a lion. Aren't background images great? A perfect way to display your interests and/or psychopathy in one simple visual. And everyone loves customisation!

But do you stick to just one background, changing it hardly ever, or do you change it more often, whenever you see something that screams background material?

Do you even bother looking at the background, or does a plethora of windows keep it hidden from view?

I use one of those default Windows slideshows. They have very nice nature photos there.

When I was a young lad it was usually a picture of a gir with big knockers. Now that I have had a chance to grow older and found out how to see that in person (which is much better than a computer image) I have been using a window default browser, or if I do change it it will be a picture of nature or something like that.

I don't think I've changed mine since I built my PC.

I might change it tonight.

My computer doesn't have a battery it's a desktop and is plugged in to the wall at all times :colbert:

When I bought my most recent computer I transferred the image for a desktop background over from my last computer that I downloaded in 2004, so right now I'm at about 11+ years.

I change my wallpaper only when I feel the need to refresh the desktop. :hattip:

I used to change it all the time when I was younger. When I got my little tiny laptop I had about 3 wallpapers over three years, and when I upgraded to this one I've had a polar bear and The Force Awakens.

Maybe I shall change it today :D

Hardly ever. My current's at its 3rd or 4th year. I have different wallpapers on my other computers, however, so I still get a bit of variety even if I don't change them often.

It used to change every 20 minutes as it was a slideshow... but now I've found a beautiful piece of art of Aqua from KonoSuba and she's now a permanent resident!

I installed Windows 10 when it first launched last summer.

My desktop is still on the default background.

Very, very rarely. I've had my computer 4 years and I'm on my second wallpaper, the first having been carried over from my last PC. I usually make them myself and I'm lazy, so maybe that's why. I'm getting a little bored with this one though, so I may end up changing it again sometime in the near future. ...Or maybe not, who knows.

Often enough. When I find a new wallpaper I like I have to have it. Right now I have the beautiful Sailor Neptune from Sailor Moon Crystal on my desktop.

My background reverts to a black screen with a notification in the corner informing me that my copy of Windows may not be genuine every time I restart, so I don't even bother trying to change it any more :(
