List as many crime dramas( that you've watched, liked or disliked) as you can.

Prime Suspect (because it starred Helen Mirren)
Cracker (because Robbie Coltrane is great)
Midsomer Murders (just for the weirdy comedy value)
A Touch of Frost (David Jason is also great)
Law and Order UK (caught a few episodes of the UK Version, its good)
Without a Trace (missing persons, but there's a lot of crime as well)
Morse (can't forget my mother's all time favourite.)

I believe (for the most part) that there's no such thing as a good crime drama these days. Maybe I'm wrong....

Over to you.....

I really enjoyed Luther because it was gritty as hell and Idris Elba

Life on Mars (UK) (loved it, great chemistry)
Monk (Really funny, one of my favourites)
Psyche (Enjoyed it at the start and towards the middle but marathoning it probably made the whole routine feel a bit old towards the end, also kind of unbelievable how so many people just believe he is psychic)
Sherlock (great film directing and good angle/effects)
NCIS (Love the characters but I kind of got turned off when it started becoming more and more military propaganda, I got to about season 8 or 9)
Elementary (good background noise, it even seems interesting when I actually take the time to pay attention)
Almost Human (had great potential, was really getting into it)

Im sure there's more but I can't think of any right this moment. I think some of these fall under Crime Comedies more than Crime Dramas but the funny ones are my prefered type.

Season 2 of Fargo is probably the best crime anything I've ever seen on TV. Obviously The Wire remains immortal as well.

Oh yeah! I absolutely love Monk. Yes crime comedies are good. I watch Brooklyn Nine Nine as well. I won't be watching Angie Tribecca though...why bother with LA when New York gets it right?

Endeavour. Best crime drama on TV at the moment.

Of the past, pretty much everything I enjoyed has been mentioned. Life on Mars is probably my favourite of all time though.

I would agree that Morse and Endeavour have their merits, they arent quite my thing but...I can see it. It was a good idea to do a prequel.

Life on Mars was good because it had you wondering what the hell was going on for most of it. I must admit, I didnt watch most of Ashes to Ashes but....the last episode was...amazing. I absolutely love that explanation for the ending.
