Grandma Potpourri (http://home.eyesonff.com/content.php/1834-Grandma-Potpourri-Best-Final-Fantasy-Character-Ever)doesn't give me snark anymore and that makes me sad. They changed her dialogue :(

Something about how she sells pots for flowers and she doesn't ask you if you like the game or not now. :(

Also the little girl who picks up the ticket you drop now loses her cuteness as she now says "dropped" instead of "dwopped".

I noticed they changed the rules of Tetra Master slightly - in the original, if you place a card with two arrows facing arrows on opponent cards, it would let you select which battle to do first, and if you won the first one it'd do the next battle right after (assuming you didn't take that card by combo, of course). Now it only runs one battle for each card placement. I don't mind either way, but the bugs that have been introduced in Tetra Master are quite frustrating. Let's just say, if you didn't find Tetra Master frustrating before, you certainly will now. If you did find it frustrating before, you should probably just leave it alone now. ;)

Dang, that's a shame about Tetra Master. They just put up a patch today so maybe their will be a patch to fix these bugs and maybe put the multiple selection back in.

Are these changes just in the Steam version? My memory isn't perfect but I don't remember any old lady asking me if I liked the game in the pal version i played.

Yeah, I don't remember that either and I don't know what pal is.

Grandma Potpourri definitely asked if you were enjoying the game in the PAL version also. You had to actually go talk to her, though, it's not part of the main storyline.

Is Grandma Patpouri the woman who's making the dress for that other NPC in the beginning of the game.

Click the link in the first post! It was my first "article" about how awesome she was. It has screenshots haha

Huh, I actually posted in it too.

I don't think I ever played a version with that dialogue. Right now I'm standing next to her in Lindblum and she has the same dialogue that I've been used to since 2000 unless she reappears after the festival of the hunt and then says it.
