I'd love to play a Guardians of the Galaxy inspired space trade and combat game. Essentially it'd be like Freelancer, Eve Online or Star Citizen but with a lot more attitude, a lot more swearing, people capable of cracking jokes and a ballin' present-day-soundtrack. None of this endless "sci-fi" music. Ship racing in asteroid belts, kicking back to some chill tunes while you're exploring for loot, that kinda thing, alongside the regular stuff you get in such games.

You? What kind of not-currently-available game do you really wanna play right now?

A Superhero RPG in the style of Bioware's game

I imagined it would begin like this: You start as a charismatic superhero who has already made a name for himself. At the start of the game you'll get to decide what kind of power you will have, and what kind of backstory your character has. The metahumans phenomenon have begun to get out of control, and you took the initiative to found a superhero organization. The plot structure will be like Mass Effect 2 where your mission is primarily to gather the party members. Over the course of the story you get to decide what kind of method you will use and the other characters will react to it. The flow of the story isn't purely based on your dialogue choice like in mass effect, but also on your action which will also influenced by what kind of superhero you are. For example, people who don't like your action might plot to assassinate you, but of course they won't send a sniper to assassinate a Superman type character.

Combat is the hardest part to make, but I think a turn-based game is a safe bet (?) Or anything with abstracted rules, really. Who cares.

EDIT: Actually, I do care. No random encounters. Overpowered characters have to be actually powerful, but the scenario must be thought well as to not make the game trivially easy by using OP level superhero. Character development will be different for OP characters and mortal characters. It's pretty hard just to imagine it, no wonder nobody have done it yet.

A Garrus Vakarian Mass Effect spinoff.

I've always wanted an idle game that requires just the right amount of involvement. Something with autonomous agents and goals like Dwarf Fortress or The Sims, but more accessible and less directly involved. I've tried implementing something like it a few times, but never got terribly far.

I would love a Firefly game made by Telltale in the style of their Walking Dead games.

They can bring back all the original cast to do the voice overs and we can catch up on about 10 series of Firefly, dammit!

Replace "Firefly" with "Doctor Who" - That's the game I'd really love to play!

Yes! This. So much this.

I'm actually surprised this hasn't been made yet.

Marvel has the same problem - their games aren't great these days...

I would play the shit out of a fighting game that has the major Key characters.

And of course, I'm eternally waiting "until something else cries". :shobon:

A Marvel RPG, maybe w/ a battle system like FFX, where you can switch party members on the fly.

I would love a new Ranma 1/2 fighting game done well. They'd have a ton of characters and the manga is full of martial arts nonsense they could use to make it unique.

Real examples include:
Martial arts tea ceremony
Martial arts noodle delivery
Martial arts eating competition
Martial arts figure skating
