Prior military/active duty will know what these things are, but for everyone else....

So, in an effort to look professional would you wear these?

Hot tip for the men. Attach them more to the outside of the hip at the top. If you attach them to the inside and they snap loose at the sock, your balls are going to get popped by a giant rubber band. Cim can probably tell us his story about that happening. I know he has one.

What the actual smurf?

Nope. It also ruins my patented folded over tuck look.

That's actually pretty brilliant

I mean, I usually don't tuck in my shirt either, but when you wear a suit and your frame isn't exactly that of an underwear model, this thing is actually a fantastic way of making sure that shirt stays in place and looks nice and smooth.

Let your shirt fly free in the wind, I say. Let it soar above the clouds and bask in the sunlight and skip through meadows and whatnot

Pumpkin, you've never worn a suit, have you

No because it involves tucking and Pumpkin don't play that game

Well, gender roles never required you to wear one so you should be happy because that thing is sweaty and heavy, but at least it makes you look sexy as fuck

I've played the tucking game before but I wasn't wearing a shirt at the time. I was just a little unsure about my assigned gender.

I have to say, both men and women look really good in a suit.

I wouldn't wear one of those, because I don't really think I need them. I put my shirt on first, then do my trousers, making sure the shirt stays in place while I do the trousers up. That works for me.

True.

I didn't wear them when I was in the military. Why would I wear them now?

Cuz you probably skinny. Trust me. Some shirts do not want to stay tucked in when love handles come into the equation

I've played the tucking game before but I wasn't wearing a shirt at the time. I was just a little unsure about my assigned gender.

I once did the whole "Silence of the Lambs" thing in the parking lot outside the bar. It was "ok" because I did it to the girls we were with (all friends, "F buddies", or gf's of close friends). "Would you smurf me? I'd smurf me."

One girl got a nice pic of the "fruit bowl" out back. Wonder if that's still making the rounds somewhere. Hmm.
