It seems people like to consume their bananas at different stages during its life cycle. There were many different answers in the recent Do You Like Bananas thread. I'm just curious as to what the majority of people do.

So I saw this thread title on the main page and my brain just broke. I sat there fucking wondering why someone would need to use a theater stage to eat a banana, and why the location of such stage would be so important.

5 and beyond. 7 for baking. Everything else is lies and unfulfilled promises.

5-6 for eating. I don't think I've ever seen a banana so green as 3 before, if I'm honest. 7 seems too brown. 5-6 then.

What I want to know is at what stage does the banana become a cie'th?

Five and above. Anything lower and I'm in actual physical pain, no joke.

And it was all yellow...

I can understand why a lot of people like them all yellow. It is more pleasing to the eye and it is almost ripe so you'll get pretty much all the health benefits.

Perfect ripeness is when there are a few brown spots on the skin. Some people can't eat these because they think the brown spots indicate a brown banana. This is a lie. This is when bananas are perfect!

Anyone who eats a banana with any shade of green on it is doing it wrong.

Though I heard that while the browner the banana the more nutrients, that also means more sugar. So essentially, the green banana is a watered down diet version, but there are instances where the brown banana won't be good for you.

Yeah, agreed there. I mean I don't like it when the brown patches become, well, patches rather than spots. But as soon as the green is gone, I'll be eating them at the next time I remember that bananas are purchased so you can eat them and not just have them sit there. Oops.

3-6 are all all edible, although both 3 and 6 are pushing it.

2-3 are OK, 4 is barely tolerable, 5+ is inedible.

You forgot stage 8 and 9, where my wife eats them.
