I managed to get a PS4 for cheaper from a friend this weekend. I bought Type-0 and it still had Episode Duscae. I haven't been able to really give an opinion on this game yet as I hadn't got to experience any of it. I also played the platinum demo as well. Which I didn't like the combat changes from Duscae to it but I guess I'll have to get used to it.

The goblins in that cave for Ramuh were terrifying.

Carbuncle was adorable.

I have not been impressed with the demos and videos so far, but I finally read the Game Informer in-depth preview and I liked what I read. The story sounds intriguing and the writer seemed to be on board with the combat mechanics at least in the early part.

I am cautiously optimistic but I'll still wait for reviews before I jump on board.

They aren't much more connected than FF games, so it wouldn't be a problem storyline wise. Check out some trailers, the game looks ridiculously stylish.

oh they are a lot more connected than final fantasy games, but they're still gonna make sense if you just play one of them. except innocent sin + eternal punishment, but those aren't very recent games

Awesome! It's going to be a hell of a good game, I feel. I really hope it's not a disappointment like No Man's Sky. Tons of people had so much hype and expectations for that game. I didn't, so I'm still a little intrigued by it. But I have that amount of hype for FFXV so if it can't deliver I'll be a little sad.

But I am 95% sure I will enjoy the game so much, no matter what. It does too many things well that I really enjoy.

P5 looks outstanding. If you can get a PSTV, Persona 4 Golden is totally worth the look.
