This is how I pronounce it. And it was apparently the official pronunciation until the "arse" sound was noted and deemed unsuitable.

Now the official pronunciation is "Ark-Ee-Us". Which doesn't sound as good, so I stick with Ar-See-Us.

It makes a "ts" sound in my language. Which is different than the ts in "cats" for example, because it's kind of a singular sound instead of two different sounds one after another... So, uh, yeah. We need the "c".

You're saying that as if your language doesn't have weird versions of otherwise international ways. I mean, for crying out loud, the Spanish diminutive for Jose (Joseph) is Pepe.

International variations aside, I used to call it Ar-see-us. Now I just stick to the official pronunciation. Not that I'm ever going to need to say it, given how impossible it is to obtain the pokemon.

His name his Aruseusu, so "Arseus"obviously referring to Deus for God/Zeus the Greek God.

A-ru-se-u-su.

"Ar-seh-uhs"

I do not know how to explain it better in English. Japanese sound is very similiar to German sound so it is quite natural for me.

The dubbing team also knew what his name was like but chose for specific reasons to pronounce it differently.
